GILBERT, Ariz. - Connecticut won two more games last week and the undefeated Huskies easily remained the No. 1 team in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Coaches Poll on Tuesday.
Connecticut totaled 1,144 points and 43 first-place votes to claim the No. 1 ranking once again. The rest of the top five included No. 2 Duke, No. 3 Michigan, No. 4 Virginia and No. 5 North Carolina.
The bottom half of the top ten included No. 6 Penn State, No. 7 Syracuse, No. 8 Delaware, No. 9 Northwestern and No. 10 Boston College. Following that group was No. 11 Louisville, No. 12 Wake Forest, No. 13 Harvard and both Princeton and Stanford at No. 14.
Maryland came in at No. 16, with James Madison at No. 17, Rutgers at No. 18, William & Mary at No. 19 and Albany at No. 20. The poll concluded with No. 21 Saint Joseph's, No. 22 Iowa, No. 23 Boston University, No. 24 Massachusetts and No. 25 Ohio State. Both Massachusetts and Ohio State joined the poll this week.

There are 12 games between ranked squads on the schedule this week, beginning with a trio on Friday with No. 12 Wake Forest at No. 2 Duke, No. 9 Northwestern at No. 22 Iowa and No. 25 Ohio State at No. 16 Maryland. Saturday's slate features No. 3 Virginia at No. 7 Syracuse, No. 11 Louisville at No. 5 North Carolina and No. 8 Delaware at No. 21 Saint Joseph's. There are six top-25 matchups on Sunday, with the schedule including No. 3 Michigan at No. 22 Iowa, No. 6 Penn State at No. 16 Maryland, No. 24 Massachusetts at No. 9 Northwestern, No. 10 Boston College at No. 23 Boston University, No. 12 Wake Forest at No. 17 James Madison and No. 25 Ohio State at No. 18 Rutgers.
