GILBERT, Ariz. - East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg held the top two spots in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II Coaches Poll announced on Tuesday, one day before they meet for the second time this season.
The Warriors remain at No. 1 with 180 points and 11 first-place votes, while the Raiders are not far behind with 163 points and two first-place votes to garner the No. 2 ranking. No. 1 East Stroudsburg will visit No. 2 Shippensburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup on Wednesday at 2 p.m. East Stroudsburg pulled out a 2-0 win at home in the teams' first meeting on Sept. 6.
A pair of undefeated teams came next in the ranking with No. 3 LIU Post and No. 4 Saint Anselm, while Kutztown moved up four spots to grab the No. 5 ranking. West Chester came in at No. 6, followed by No. 7 Pace, No. 8 Bloomsburg, No. 9 Limestone and No. 10 Lindenwood. Limestone and Lindenwood are both new entrants this week, and the undefeated ECAC Field Hockey League members are set to face off on Friday at Limestone.

Additional top-10 action this week includes another matchup for Shippensburg as the No. 2-ranked Raiders host No. 8 Bloomsburg on Saturday, while Bloomsburg also has a home matchup with No. 5 Kutztown on Wednesday.
The next Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II Coaches Poll will be announced on Tuesday, October 3. The poll is voted on by NFHCA member coaches, and has no bearing on selection to the 2017 NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship.
