GILBERT, Ariz. - Messiah remained unbeaten with two more victories last week, and on Tuesday the Falcons continued to maintain their grip on the No. 1 ranking in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Coaches Poll.

Messiah has a 9-0 record and a 31-game winning streak dating back to last season. This week, the Falcons captured 890 points and 41 first-place votes to take the top spot. The rest of the top five included No. 2 Babson, No. 3 Montclair State, No. 4 Tufts and No. 5 The College of New Jersey.

Coming in at No. 6 was Middlebury, followed by No. 7 Salisbury, No. 8 Amherst, No. 9 Hamilton and No. 10 Christopher Newport. The rest of the ranking consisted of No. 11 Bowdoin, No. 12 Skidmore, No. 13 Williams, No. 14 Franklin & Marshall, No. 15 Kean, No. 16 MIT, No. 17 Rochester, No. 18 Catholic, No. 19 Mary Washington and No. 20 William Smith.

Six games between ranked opponents appear on this week's schedule, with three top-10 matchups on Saturday when No. 5 The College of New Jersey visits No. 3 Montclair State, No. 6 Middlebury goes to No. 4 Tufts and No. 8 Amherst heads to No. 9 Hamilton. Earlier in the week, No. 12 Skidmore goes to No. 13 Williams on Tuesday while Wednesday's action features No. 7 Salisbury at No. 18 Catholic and No. 10 Christopher Newport at No. 19 Mary Washington.
