Allen, Ringer named September Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA High School Co-Player of the Month

GILBERT, Ariz. — Abby Allen from Biddeford High School and Taryn Ringer from Johnstown High School have been named the September Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA High School Co-Player of the Month. This September, the NFHCA received the most High School Player of the Month nominations to date, making this month's award incredibly competitive.

Abby Allen, Biddeford High School, 2021, Midfielder/Forward (Biddeford, Maine)

Allen tallied 40 points in September for her 10-0 Biddeford High School team on 15 goals and 10 assists. With her second goal in Biddeford's win over Noble High School on September 30, Allen became Biddeford's all-time leading goal scorer.

Taryn Ringer, Johnstown High School, 2021, Forward (Johnstown, New York)

In September, Ringer registered at least one point in every one of Johnstown High School's nine wins. Ringer posted an impressive 24 goals and three assists and had six multi-goal games in September. With her four-goal performance on September 23, the team captain surpassed 200 career points.

Borkowski contributed 35 of Plymoth Whitemarsh High School's 78 goals in the month of September. A dominant goal scorer, Borkowski was recognized as's leading goal scorer for three-straight weeks in September and averaged 6.1 points-per-game throughout the month.

Bridget Murphy, Oak Knoll School, 2020, Midfielder/Forward (Summit, New Jersey)

Murphy tallied at least one point in every contest for the Oak Knoll School — who were undefeated during September and are currently ranked first on the MAX Field Hockey High School National Top 25 Rankings. Her 32 goals and 6 assists gave her 70 points in the month of September.

Scarlett Oaks, Thomas Worthington High School, 2021, Goalkeeper (Worthington, Ohio)
